I always believe Charlene is an independant girl who will sleep on her own BUT I was wrong. She started sleeping beside me on the bed when she's around 16mos. And so, poor Daddy is 'chased' down to her humble little mattress beside the bed. And so, started my painful back, joints and to tolerate her occasional karate kicks which happens quite often recently.... She's like Daddy, always rolling and changing position on the bed, so to cater for her little body, sometimes I have to shift to the edge of the bed, bend my body, funny head position.....

And of cos her shifting to the bed means Daddy and I have less cuddle time.... hehe... but we both believe her comfort is most important.

Well.... sometimes I get frustrated with her kicks that woke me up in the middle of the night, but thinking ahead I still feel blissful cos her warm little body is lying beside me, her angelic face, her soft hair... I dont mind being squashed and kicked actually... Who knows after a certain age, she may not want to lie beside me, doesnt want me to hold her little hands....

What's there to complain...hehe

I was locked in Daddy's Car! Last Friday Daddy carried me down to the car and while he placed me in the car seat , I pestered for the car key. So daddy gave it to me, closed my car door, AND before he could open his, I pressed the LOCK button. Mummy was wondering why Daddy has locked the car without knowing I actually had the key. Seeing Daddy and Mummy outside, I thought they were playing with me. They were frantic, keep asking me to press the unlock button. I din know what is it. It was fun in the beginning until I feel the heat and started crying. I can see Mummy using her handphone and dashing up to call Bobo.... I think they really panick. I was perspiring and so scared suddenly. Bobo rushed down, some neighbours gather, Mummy called the lock smith but they could only reached 25 min later! They were so scared that I might suffocate inside. So they have to smashed the window. With the help of a passing uncle, Daddy smashed the window! 'BANG"! It was so loud, I started screaming, Bobo grab me when the door is unlock..... I was all wet and crying.......

Think Mummy nearly cried..... I learned my lesson, never ask for the car key ever again.... and we spent $80 getting the window fixed

Daddy recommended me to watch a DVD with him entitled 'BE WITH YOU'. He has actually watched the movie before and says its a nice story. Its actually a Japanese movie about a Mother who passed away but chose to come back to be with her husband and son for just a short period of time. I knew its going to be a sad story so I prepared myself for free flow of tears.... hehe. AND you have guessed it, its a teary show, from the start to the end, Ive been crying buckets...hahahha... What left a great impression to me is when the Mummy said ' Maybe its not just destiny that brought Daddy & Mummy together BUT the main reason that we are brought together is to create you, baby' It really touched me. Ever since I have my own kid, I really can FEEL what parents really feel.... cry on the slightest thing relating to children, getting more emotional....

Well... this story also taught me and Daddy to treasure the people around us. Sometimes we just took for granted to the people around us. Dont wait till they are gone then you start to regret what haven you done with or to them. They may not come back again like in the movies...
